INVISIBLE CHAIR
‘What does it mean to sit?’
In Korea an invisible chair is regarded as a punishment students get when they misbehave.
Like the idea from Platon, we all have different images and thoughts of certain words and concepts.
All the participants were asked the same questions
“Imagine there is a chair infront of you.
Try to shape the chair that is infront of you.
And...”
I wanted to see how people would react and form their ideas within their imaginations.
The volunteers show clearly that nobody is the same, and the diversity that brings curiosity and interests.
‘What would a world be without chairs?’
